Europe's Newest Hotel Openings 2024

Embark on a European escapade where every hotel stay is a chapter in your adventure tale

Almost one hundred years ago, the English writer James Hilton coined the word Shangri-La to describe a paradise on earth, a place of idyllic beauty where life approaches perfection. Even though it is an imaginary location, some places can make us feel like it is not utopian, but a real destination. We selected five hotels in Europe that are opening in 2024 that promise to provide you with a “paradise on earth” experience.

The 5 most anticipated hotels opening across Europe in 2024

Hotel Balzac, Paris, France (hotel opening June 2024)

A legendary stay in the Champs-Elyseé, the Hotel Balzac is being reinvented by the design duo Festen, which uses the tradition of the French hotel trade in its renovation. With 58 rooms and suites, each room will provide a feeling of nostalgia and comfort as it uses the sober elegance of the 1930s. Parisian life at its best is what you can expect at the Hotel Balzac. With an imponent glass ceiling, the hotel's lounge welcomes travelers and the bar provides the perfect atmosphere for the glamor one expects from Paris. A Japanese Spa is also featured and offers a unique experience for the visitors, who can also check out Pierre Gagnaire’s three-Michelin-starred restaurant at Balzac.
